  Absolutely, yes. [well….never a lobster….crayfish, yes].
  
  But its the small ones you’ve gotta watch out for! The large crabs and crayfish have somewhat heavy and cumbersome claws, so move too slowly for you to be pinched in time. The smaller ones, particularly land crabs, can deliver a painful pinch. Nothing horrendous though.
