A loooot! They look really primitive and weird when you do not know them….but when you start knowing them they are fascinating! You know they are crustaceans? Like shrimps? But they have evolved differently and all the legs that you can find in other crustaceans are gone…mostly because they don’t need them, as they live stuck to rocks! But they actually move 🙂 is just very slowly! However, when you point jets of water to them, they love it and open up and put the little “feeding tentacles” out and rotate according to the water jet! They normally live in areas with huge waves, so they are used to very strong currents! They can also breath inside and outside of water….how cool is that? Also their babies are kept in the “mouth”…(and they have thousands of babies at a time!)…and then the parents release them in the water and they go swimming around for a few weeks when their body changes shape until they are ready to get back to the rocky shore! They then “walk” on the rocks or on the parents (they have 2little feet on the last stage!) and choose where they wanna live forever…Com’on, how can I not like them?
